Ghindeni Vineyards is a packaging concept for a wine label rooted in a real place. Ghindeni is a small village in Oltenia, Romania, home to around 2,000 people, where grape cultivation and winemaking are still part of daily life. The concept started during a visit to the village for the grape harvest. The label design is intentionally minimal: a single illustration of a grape cluster that wraps around the bottle, leaving only the base visible. The goal was to let the product speak through one strong visual element rather than layering information.

Three wines make up the concept line: a red, a rosé, and a white. Each uses the same label structure with color as the main differentiator, keeping the system cohesive across the range.

Research into the village's history uncovered that two folles (ancient coins) from the reign of Justin I were found in Ghindeni, minted in Constantinople. The village name comes from "ghinde" (acorns), tied to the surrounding oak forests, and it was first documented on November 7, 1587. Lake Lala sits nearby. These elements shaped the coin that appears on each bottle: an oak tree with acorn-shaped leaves and water symbols beneath it, framed as a seal. It works as both a brand mark and a nod to the village's origins.
